Kingdom of Squares

Kingdom of Squares is a story-driven arcade game where you play as an archer to defend the kingdom from the "evil" circles!

The game was created in only 5 days for Egypt Game Jam 2024. I was sick for over half that time, so I apologize in advance if it feels like a fever dream!

The theme of the jam was "Justice, Freedom, and Peace".

How to Play

• Your bow will charge automatically, press left click to shoot. Drawing the arrow further lets you shoot farther and deal more damage!
  
• Move with A and D. Jump with Space or W.
• Press left click to continue in cutscenes.
• Pause with P or ESC

Dying a lot? Here are some tips:

• Draw the arrow 'till the end to deal the most damage.
• Kill the larger enemies first, they deal more damage!
• Drop arrows quickly on smaller enemies, they always die in one shot - regardless of how powerful it is.

Update 25/02/2024: Replaced the web build with a single-threaded version for better compatibility.

Update 26/02/2024: Fixed an issue where the ending was missing in the web version, I uploaded the wrong build yesterday :|
